Making PH Balanced Iced Tea with Alkaline Water My drink of choice is iced tea and usually have several glasses a day. Black tea is extremely acidic, I discovered how to make Iced tea PH balanced some time ago by doing some experimenting with water/tea/sugar balance. Start with 3 cups of PH 10 Alkaline water, bring the water to a boil then add 1/8 cup of a blend of black teas and green tea. Turn the heat off and cover the pot, let sit for about 30 min to an hour. Strain the tea into a container. I add 3 tablespoons of sweetener (cane juice crystals), like it slightly sweet. Then add 5 cups of PH 10 Alkaline water. This makes the tea aprox. PH 7, a neutral cup of tea. Great taste. My Tea Blend. I use equal amounts of each tea. This is a very aromatic blend. (I used to use 1/4 cup of tea blend but with using Alkaline water 1/8 cup makes the same strength.) What is ph of tea? What is the ph for tea? What is ph level for tea? How much pH does tea have? | actually, you don't need to boil alkaline water to brew tea. if you have a good quality alkaline water even 8.5 which is great for drinking will steep tea immediately even when cold or room temperature. that way you don't need to cool it or reducing the PH down and no need to wait 30 min-1 hour to drink.. works wonders with green tea |

| I tryed ph 10 water, cold, and added my usual amt of tea, let it set for 6 hours. Was very weak, not what I call tea. |
